The Integrative Therapeutic Massage
Every customer is a unique individual with his or her own unique set of needs at any given time.
The massage techniques used in the therapuetic sessions will always be customized through both communication and intuition to fit the needs of the individual client.
These techniques may include:
Swedish- long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking motions that affect the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, and promotes health and wellbeing.
Light to Moderate pressure
Myofacial Release- fascia is body-wide, a tension or trauma in one part of
the body can affect another part. The fascia responds to the trained touch
to release the adverse effects of inflammation, tensions and trauma. Moderate to Deep pressure
Deep tissue- uses deep muscle compression and friction along the grain of the muscle. Its purpose is to unstick the fibers of the muscles and release both toxins and deeply held patterns of tension. Deep pressure
Neuromuscular Therapy - pressure of trigger points, to eliminate the causes of pain patterns. NT brings about balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. It enhances the function of joints, muscles, and movement, and it releases endorphins, the body’s own natural painkillers.
Acupressure- stimulates meridian points to remove blockages, to increase the energy flow, to reduce stress, and to promote health and harmony in the body.
Reiki Energy balancing-
(pronounced ray-kee) in Japanese means “universal life energy.” It is a healing technique of transmitting life energy through the practitioner via the hands, aiding in the clearing of blockages thereby creating the best potential function of the body’s own healing resources.
