Immersion
The piece, Immersion, was inspired by my muse, Robert Hensley and his journey with the shadow "Blocked."
"Dear “Blocked
To know I am blocked,
is such a shock.
I secretly cry,
and never know why,
my art stays inside
and my heart doesn't fly.
Wouldn’t I rather Fuck up
Than never fuck at all?
What is holding me back?
Am I really that small?
How can I break
the bonds
of ropes I tie
around my heart
and my art
so my soul can fly?"
